While not a practical CCW weapon, there is a pistol version of the 15-22 and they share the same magazines and other parts!! Single point sling and there you go.

Springfield Loaded ($700 range) was at the top of my list since it came with everything I wanted. They're great guns. I was offered a GI RIA for pretty darn cheap and figured the money saved would easily cover the parts and service to get it how I want plus some ammo and mags.I can tell you my Mom's Hubby paid a LOT more for his Springfield 1911, I forget what model 1911 since they make like 50 of them! It's stainless with wood grips and rubber grips.

Came with the checkered grips instead of the stock smooth junky ones, and the arched MSH that fits me better. It's getting a Caspian Trik flat trigger, extended ambidextrous safety, beavertail grip safety (drop in, no frame cutting), and a Wilson hammer. It's been gone for too long though, and my smith is getting surgery so it'll be a while before I get it back. Future mods will be a new finish, Trijicon block night sights, and perhaps a magwell. I'll be putting Pachmayr wrap grips on it probably.
Randy,
My bud has that same pistol, it does shoot great. But if we're talking absolute accuracy, I gotta say the Mark II and III Ruger is by far one of the best shooting 22LR pistols I've had my hands on![]()
The 41 is on a different level than a 22a but I gotta say my 22a will hang with my mkII slabside comp.
