Man's Best Friend . . . show me yours!

This is Jack (the dog)
He's 10 months old.
We took this photo when he was 4 months.
He's named for my pal Jack (the human)
Neither one does online auctions.

I've had a lot of different breeds of dogs. Squirt is my first Boston Terrier and if the rest are like her, I don't think I'll ever have any other kind of dog.

Here's Milly our Greyhound rescue pooch:

and here is Bogey, been gone for 3 years now and not a day goes by that I don't miss him. BTW: Dalmatians snarl like this when they are very happy, embarrassed or guilty of mischief.

I have three dogs staying with me. Mexican chiuaha, named chaquita, then there is the chaweeni named chasha, and finally a 85 pound north american pit bull terrier he's named bob. Someone threw bob out and at first another famile took him in due to the cold weather. One day my brother in law shows up with bob at his side. After that it sounds like abbot & costello who's on first about who's dog is he. Bob has had a couple breakouts since then but has always come home. Had to replace all the locks on the doors on the enclosure around the pool. Seems he would just butt the door with his big head and off to see the world. Only time he barks is to go out to potty. The other two are the burgular alarms. frank

And here is Angel, who went to the Rainbow Bridge last October. I sure do miss her.

Not my dog but had to share anyways. This is Chewie, possibly the coolest dog in the world.

Almost every picture I have of Toby he has a cat with him. He loves them and them seem to love him too. Very unusual dog but you never see a stranger in the house either.

Fosters Buddy (black & white) & Angie. Both are in forever homes.

This is Lucy. Rescued from a backyard breeder when she was diagnosed with diabetes. People from 3 different websites teamed up to save her life. She was only with me for four months but she's one of those dogs that comes along once in a lifetime if you're very lucky.

Her first night with us.

The next day. Counter surfer extraordinaire!

Her forever family sent this the 27th of April, her second anniversary of going to her forever home. They had her cataracts removed so she sees again.

These are my own dogs. Dingo, the Cattle Dog and Fauna, the GSD. We got her from a breeder when she washed out of cop training. Dingo was just a pup.

Cody, and Rocky & Sandy. I'm in the rock and sand biz. I sort of plagerized a local mine's mascot's name Rocksand (Roxanne). All strays that I believe ran away from abusive enviroments, esp the white one.

I'd like to add that my neighbor with a dairy supply biz has a lovely smallish german sheperd. I go over and check on her on weekends since humans are scarce then. Even fed her one long weekend while they were away. I play security in the area since I live here. Love that girl as much as my own.

Anyway, one day the owner called me at work and said he thinks someone tried to poison her, probably trying to silence her while they pilfer the place, but didn't. She spent several days at the vet and recovered. I used to say I won't shoot someone for stealing, just call the sherrif, but after that incident.....
