Picked up a 60-7

Went to a local dealer this week to pick up a like new Beretta 92sb and discovered they had this barely fired 60-7. I had a m60 years ago and always regretted selling it so I am very happy to have one again. Such a timeless little J-frame. (The 92sb is pretty nice too

Nice looking guns, I miss my M60 as well. You might want to check the screw holding the cylinder release latch, it looks loose in the picture.

I noticed that myself and checked...its tight. I guess the stud was just a tad long? Who knows i guess.

I got lucky a few months ago and found both a Model 60-7 and a absolutely stunning Colt Detective Special at a local gun store. I wanted both, but could only afford to buy one, so I opted for the Model 60. The price was a no quibble $250.00! I don't think it was fired much outside of the factory - it looked like a sock drawer gun - and came with a set of rubber Hogue grips. I've got a set of Crimson Trace LG-205 laser grips on it (predates the LG-105 grips). I am amazed at how handy and accurate that Model 60 is, and the width of the front sight really helps a lot.

I have two of these - one will be for my son and the LadySmith version will be for my daughter. I believe that the 60-7 is the best small frame .38 Special that was ever made.
