I`ve always had a passion for fine (and sometimes not so fine) rimfires. And over the years I`ve accumulated 45 of them. Most are .22 LR with a couple of mags and a 17 in the mix. They run the range from basic to very high quality and from the 1920s to the present.

This is one of the new Savage-Stevens Favorite models, not a bad likeness of the original, and very accurate. I bought this one for my son when my wife was 3 months pregnant for him. He's 2 now so it will be a while before he gets to shoot it. It's nice though in case he's left handed, and it fits me so he can have it a long time.

This one is mine and was my grandfather's when he bought it in 1950. He claimed he killed more game with it than any other gun he ever owned. Since I have had it, I have shot squirrels, grouse, even a couple of beavers with it.
