What's your daily driver?

I had a buddy that had one like that right down to the same color. Dad had a 55 pontiac chiefton bright yellow and black. I had a 56 chev 210 coupe. Those cars a big person could get in and sit comfortable, not like the cars now to where I feel like I been in a wrestling match just to get in and out of!

1998 Toyota Corolla in the feminine green/teal exterior. She is at 149k and runs a lot better than she looks. My kids are embarrassed to be seen in it but they know my standing offer, "You are welcome to walk if you like." I commute about 40 miles a day and it does the job.

2000 ford F-150 Lariat Off road version,5.8L interior leather, full power,
56,479 miles. I am retired, don't drive much anymore.

It's ugly, but tough

Fordtruckguy, My last truck was a '79 Ford Explorer and had the exact same dent. It was a jack knife from the previous owner. I wish I made a deal on the Airstream trailer responsible for the dent. The truck served me well.

You must miss that truck I'll bet. It must have been a classy dent. Thanks for the post.

2006 Saturn Ion.
Base model, the only options I got are floor mats and air conditioning.
No power locks, windows, or alarm. It's got all three pedals in the floor. I get 35 MPG give or take, depending on freeway driving, in town, or how hard I put my foot in it.
I have 180K miles.
It's paid for.
And I can fit 3 dead bodies in the trunk.

I was never a GM fan, but it was built in Tennessee and has literally been the most trouble free and reliable car I've ever had. We bought it new so that it would be paid off when the oldest starts driving, but I won't give it up. It's got my buttgroove broken in just right, and I don't want to have to break in another car.

Spring and summer I drive my 63 Ford Galaxie. Fall and winter it's a 2006 Ford Ranger. Would be nice if the Galaxie got the mileage that the Ranger gets.

92 Jeep Wrangler, but I don't drive it to work, as I retired in
'10. It's got a 4 cylinder and 5 speed and gets between 20 and 21 MPG.

Love it in the summer, but it's a little cold in winter time. Very dependable little Jeep.

That first picture is from last winter. We ain't hardly had enough snow this winter, to track a rabbit!

This has been my daily driver for almost four years, but, hopefully not much longer. This baby pays off in November, and I really want a Crown Vic or a small cheap truck to replace it's daily driver status. This Mustang is going NOWHERE except my Dad's garage, so I can keep miles and dirt off of it. It's been a great car; 2005 model with 54,000 two owner miles. These cars are tough, reliable, and practical for just me and my girlfriend. They are built like tanks and run forever, IF NOT ABUSED. I drive it hard and fast sometimes, but they are built for it, just not made for abuse. I love this thing; it gets 25 mpg on the highway with 3.55 gears, has a great sound with Pypes Bomb axleback mufflers, which are little more than straight pipes with baffles, and has a cool retro chrome Hurst shifter with white ball to grab onto between hearing those bellowing pipes.

Here's one you don't see very often..........this is my 2007 Mazda 5 Touring Wagon, bought to replace a Nissan Sentra I spent ten years wrestling rifle cases in and out of. The rear hatch goes up like it should, to offer refuge from sun and rain. It seats 6+, but with the rear seats both folded down, it's perfect for a bunch of gun gear and rifle cases. BOTH side doors slide back, instead of folding out, so getting stuff in and out of it is a breeze!

This is my favorite to drive......it's just a lot of fun and will go most anywhere I want it to go.

2006 Ford F-150 w/93,000 miles. Roundtrip to work every day is
60 miles. Gotta have a truck.

As I am not allowed to drive over here per company policy so I have a driver that wheels me around in a Toyota Prado. Nice little rig. When I am home my daily driver is a 2008 Chevy 4x4 P/U.
