I've long admired both nickel S&Ws and patrick's work.
So, when I finally scored a nickel Model 29, the nexy step was to contact Patrick for a set of stags.
They arrived this week. Now I can join the party:

I wanted mostly white, with no bark, for my 33-1. These are elk bone. Patrick is going to take a little off of the top edge where they cover the engraving border a little.

K22 17-1 may have made the 1961 cut off. 17-1 is a Hard to find dash model. Elk horn grips, but I don't know who did them ???

Grashorn smoothies on a Model 58

A beautiful Model 58 recently came to me. Mr. Grashorn's grips are just the perfect compliment for it. They look and feel fantastic and are just what I was after. The man is a gentleman as well and very nice to deal with. That last pic shows the bottom compared to the combats on a Model 57-1. Sorry about the weak photo skills but had to show them off. Thanks again Patrick.

Patrick's Work

I have posted these photos before, but cann't say enough good about Patrick's work. He will build the grips to suit your hand size as he did with these Alaskan fossil bone beauties gracing a pair of .357 mag M-28s.

WOW! Some real beauties here! Great thread. Love the classic look of his works of art. Only have one set for now on my 19-3. Am slowly saving for 2 more sets, one for my 2" 34 snub and its big brother a 2" 15-3 snub. Nice grips and revolvers/semi's guys!

Here's mine with my old stag handled Puma hunter. It's had lot's of blood on it from taking care of deer and other game since 1979 and has aged just like me. My favorite knife with one of my favorite S&W's!
