Need help finding leather, twin shoulder holsters for S&W 1917's

Bill, do you live in a rough neighborhood?

Not unless the cows, critters and any other four legged animals out here in the country get mad at me Lol.

Thanks for all the helpful info guys, I've checked out all the links y'all provided and will be checking on the non link recommendations too.

I'm hoping for a heavy duty thick leather tack quality "X" frame rear shoulder harness that will hold two vertical spring loaded holsters for my S&W 1917's and would have a provision for a couple of post type carriers for two 6 rd moon clips with each holster.

I have googled "Double holster shoulder holsters pics", "shoulder holster straps pics", and all kinds of variations on the theme. Looked at the pictures that came up, clicked on them and went to multiple sites to check them out and read about them. But as yet, I haven't seen exactly the type of double shoulder holster rig I would like. I am thinking I might have to make it myself. I have made one single holster shoulder holster in the past. Wasn't that hard. Even did the basket weave pattern on the holster at the leather craft shop of my local university years ago. Back then I even took my Dan Wesson revolver in to the leather craft shop at the university to fit it correctly to the holster. Of course that was pre 911 when the country was still sane. Couldn't do that today.

I can make it the over the shoulder curved "loop" style, or use straight straps. Either way. That and the other straps are no problem. I want my holsters to be vertical and open front so the revolver can be pivoted down and out easily, with just a small "pocket" area that the last inch or two of the barrel will go into and the revolver is held into the holster by spring tension. (Yes I know that can wear the bluing on the cylinder some). Something that looks like this, only for a S&W 1917 instead of a semi-auto....

Or even perhaps something that looks like this, again only for the S&W 1917....

I like this one a lot.

Consequently I need two springs that are used in spring loaded holsters.

Anyone know where I could get the holster springs that bear upon the cylinder?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Will do Qball. Might be a little while before I start on the leatherwork. Other projects taking precedence. But I will pick up the spring clips just so I'll have them when I do start.

No leatherwork shops close to where I live now and although I know how to use them, I don't have proper leatherworking tools. I could probably get by without those tools though. I have a bandsaw, mill and lathe and could probably do most if not all of the leatherwork without dedicated leatherworking tools. I could cut the leather with a razor knife or my bandsaw (its a small 1/4 inch fine tooth metal blade saw perfect for cutting leather).

Here's a few pics for you Qball. First four are my .45 acp commercial model S&W 1917.

Don't have any pics of my other S&W 1917 yet.

Also here's some pics and a link to an interesting design double shoulder holster rig I discovered while looking online for one for my 1917's. It's a copy of the one Brendan Fraser wore in "The Mummy". Not a top grade rig by any means, but not too bad looking a rig and looks to be strong and sturdy. But those two rear horizontal back straps don't look like they allow for as much comfort as a movable X frame would. Also the holsters aren't the spring loaded pivot the revolver grip down and out kind like I want. But still not a bad looking double rig for the reasonable price of $150.00 It's tempting, but not exactly what I'm looking for. If I wasn't going to make my own, this one would be my second choice though if the maker could make the holsters fit two S&W 1917's.
