Then there's always this vid, if ya like drag racing, my son is driving while I pray on the sidelines..

Nice Grand National. I have a client, an older lady whose late husband bought a new Grand National back in '87. She still has it, and has let me drive it. It is absolutely perfect, and the next time we take it out the odometer will roll over 3,000 actual miles. No, it ain't for sale.
She also has a really nice '67 Mustang convertible. 289, aftermarket Holley carb, and, best of all, a 4 speed. Her husband won it in a poker game about 30 years ago. We took it out recently and I ran it to redline in the first three gears. Looked over at her and said "That's really good for it, I'm blowing out the cobs". She smiled. She knows me too well and knew I was blowing smoke. But we were both thoroughly enjoying the ride.:D
Yeah, they sure don't make 'em like that anymore.

Sorry for the lack of a decent picture, but there is a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner living in my garage, and there's an "Elephant" living under its hood! Dale

There must be a picture somewhere... :D

I'm giving serious thought to a supercharger, but I'm not sure that I want to invest that much in a "toy".

Well, this one looks nice :D

Not a muscle car, (I have had a Dart, a Duster, and a 65 Biscayne 2dr) but this nice little short box does have a 390 V8. Right now its getting rebuilt and I am adding Hedman Headers and thrush glasspacks to it. It might not keep up with some of the more modern sports cars, but I bet it will do ok. I have some big plans for this little truck once I get it home.

Big Inch Small Block Ford getting prepped for lots of boost from a Blow-through Supercharger. Sorry for the small picture, not sure what's going on.

'86 Grand National 600+ HP (C16), '91 GMC Syclone 550 HP (C16), Taurus SHO V8 stock.

My first two Syclone motors blew up. This third motor has all forged parts. Both of these six cylinder sleepers can have their turbos detuned to 15 PSI boost and run on 93 octane pump gas.

Although not overloaded in the horsepower department, here's my weekend cruiser. I've had a few cars in the past though that really would "put it down on the road".

It looks totally stock but there are a few changes under there that helped pick up the power a little.

I've had this one since 1996. It is a really nice 1979. I've got a lot of sweat equity in it. Someday I would like to have a late model if I ever become rich.

Back in the day (for me, the day was the late '70s) I had several hot rods but my favorite was this '67 Plymouth GTX. It had a 440 Super Commando rated at 375hp/490lbs torque and a 727 torquflite auto.

Fast forward to today. After a long hiatus from hot rods and horsepower I bought this '66 Tbird in May and have been enjoying driving and working on it through the summer. It's not the fastest thing around, thanks to the 3:00 rear end and 4500lb heft, but the 390 in it was rated at 315hp/427lbs torque so it can still get out of it's own way and sounds great doing it.

Taken when I bought it in May-

This is what it looks like now-

I wish I could post pics but...how about a 1974 Jensen Interceptor with the original 440 Commando engine and Chrysler Auto trans?[30k miles!] The "Gentlemans Express" 140MPH for autobahn cruising. Anyone know where I can find an autobahn in Alabama? Nick

I'm looking for pics. Had a '71 F100 with a '76 LTD 351 big block. Looked like a work truck with pride, but would beat anything on the road. 300+ HP and a whopping 4 mpg. I could get 9 on the highway if I kept it below 90mph.
It was just to expensive of an everyday driver.

Found one. Here's a picture of a picture of my sleeper.

These are some of mine.

I also have a 1984 Cadillac Coupe with a 1977 Cad 425. I am getting ready to replace the 425 with a 1976 Cadillac 500.

I also have a 1954 Pontiac Chieftain Catalina. I have been collecting parts. I have most of the body parts, a Fatman front, a jag rear, and a 385 CID Chevy small block 4 bolt.

What a conincidence; I just picked up an old Dec. 2008 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines, which is about the only car magazine I HAVE to have every month, and there you are, on page 70, in all your glory! :)

A sweet 1978 Ford 460, Edelbrock carb and intake, Crower cam, exhausting out through a set of Sanderson shorty headers into a dual exhaust. Mated to a C6/NP205 combo........

What, NP205?

Gotta have the transfer case for 4WD. This is all in a 1978 Ford E250/Pathfinder 4x4 van. Interior is simple, 3 captains chairs, a fold down couch and a propane catalytic heater. It gets cold here and there are times you don't want to start the engine to get warm ;) .

It may not go extremely fast, but it gets there, where ever "there" may be!

That's kewl, we've been in a few mags, a bunch in GM High Tech Perf. and even part of an episode of Dennis Gage's My Classic Car.. in 06. My car is kinda out of commission at the moment, I tried to turn it into a V8 this summer. It now has 6 holes in the top and 2 holes out the bottom...

Here's a lousy pic from under the hood...
