web site video has demo video and instructions

NOTE: The term "clip" from here on thu this thread will noted that it refers to the technical name for "magazine" and not the cartridge holding device for the M1 garand, and may be used in reference to said technical name "magazine" IE "throw me another clip","throw me another magazine"

yes i did , and i keep it out of frame on purpose for now, waiting until its out for sale, i just wanted to show the ease of load for now and not really the design. but i will very soon, probably 1-3 months or sooner?

i see what your saying, but even loading by hand ,you have to relieve tention on the follower and give it a small shake to properly stagger the rounds. but i used it for 1000 rds straight and had no problems with feed issues. if you look at the top of the magazine first 2 round have to allign anyway? even if the lower ones are not.

Finally got to see the video - not a single image of the loader up close or of it in actual operation - just the sounds of rounds falling into the magazine.

Looks like simply a way to wholesale dump rounds in the magazine with no attempt to actually align them.

I'll pass.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm missing something very important, but how do you guys stagger them by hand? I have shot thousands of rounds using this loader and had zero miss feed problems? please explain.

Don't do it by hand ... they alternate on their own when you load them one at a time. Magic, I guess. :)

Seriously they automatically align when done slowly, I don't know why. If I pull the assist button all the way to the bottom and just drop them in, they don't. And I do have feeding problems then.

I load magazines at home, not on the range, under normal circumstances. It takes me 60 seconds to load 25 rounds, in any case.

Good luck with the project, though.

Thanks for the input, but I'm not having any feed issues, I think a full brick run through it and not one miss feed proves that i doesn't make a difference if they are staggered or not, other than they all will not all fit in the magazine if they are not. I suspect the loader must magically stagger them also! The loader cap works on a gravity design, so it works just like hand feeding but a whole lot easier. and OH YES THE AMMO BILL DID INCREASE!

The lack of feed problems is interesting. That's good to know.

As for the ammo bill, I bet it did!!!!! :D

You have to remember I am not marketing this as a "speed loader"
Like any kind of machine if you try to goto fast things go wrong. The only difficulty is getting used to how it works and feeds, but everyone who has tested it picks it up within a few times ,even my nine yr old and wife can do it with little practice as long as they follow a few simple instructions, then BAMMMM your hooked and will never want to load by hand again. Its not idiot proof though even my pat attorney screwed it up and tried to dump them in? even after i demonstrated it for god sake!

Try slowing down and see what it does staggering.

I did try that after your post to see what you were talking about and I still get a few bullet tips off stager but the primer sides all seem to staggered, Then i purposely went fast and got several in a row miss staggered, left them in place, then rapid fired them all with no problem,, the only jams i get is when i try to rapid fire pure led tip bullet's with the wax lube on them vs copper jacked ones, even hand loading the clip. My rifle just dosnt like the wax I guess.

I will resist the obvious comments ... :D

That's the problem; you're trying to load a clip and not a magazine. :D :D

This is all very interesting.
