Hello everyone. Do we have any car guys on the forum? Do you own a classic car, muscle car, or hot rod? Why not share it here. How about some pictures and a description. I will go first.

paint is PPG base coat clear coat in the factory Garden Tourquose.
NOS stock carpets and apulstry and head liner.
The car as it sits now is not numbers macting but all stock parts are in the garage.
Body style is a 62A Club Sedan.
mufflers are two chamber Flowmaster 2.5 inch dual exhaust from headers back.
about 250BHP based on info from NOS Ford performance books
ignition is Ford Duraspark electronic
Motorcraft battery, oil filter and fluids
vacuum run wipers
radio, dash clock, heater, stainless trim and modlings all factory options.
Has origional key ring tage.
Car was bought in 4/1978 from origional owner and my dad has owned it ever sense.
has the warranty paper work and heater control tag instructions.
has the origional dealership license plate frames that came on the car.

When i was in my late teens to early 20s (98-03) i was a diehard sports and classic car fan. Didnt care if it was a 1942 Fiat or a 2002 Lambo. Weird i know! Had a few SS Camaros. I grew out of that. Now im into longevity and simplicity. How little can i pay for a reliable car and spend the least on maintance/get the most out of it, including gas.

I'm not a huge Mopar, but they have been putting out some sexy vehicles lately. Coming out of their R/T - SRT programs. I'd love to have one of the SRT-8 Jeeps.

Long time car guy here. Now driving a 07 Z06, this is my 6th Vette. Waiting to get an in person look at the new C7 Vette Convertible, might be doing a change then!

I grew up in the 60s in the glory days of the muscle car era.

I had some quick street cars back then one was a 63 Dodge 383 and a 67 Dodge RT. I worked part-time at my buddy's speed shop and had a lot of work into that RT. I ran it both on the street and at couple drag strips that were in the area. I have also helped out on a friends stock car for a couple seasons and pit crewed on my speed shop buddies NHRA national record car back in the late 60s early 70s.

Had some other nice cars since but the ones I mentioned are my favorites.

The daily driver is a 2012 Nissan Versa S. I prefer to buy American, but this car could not be beat for the money. A Ford Fiesta or Chevy Sonic was $3k more than the Versa. I see why folks are buying imports.

I have a survivor that I bet no one else on this Forum has, or maybe never even heard of. My 1986 Chrysler Laser XT is 100% original and only things changed are spark plugs and tires. The configuration of my new age classic makes it one of a few hundred with its color and all the options applied. I must confess, however, that it is not much good in snow, so only a 3 seasons driver.


1986 was the introduction of the Laser XT. The XT was actually an option package on the Laser XE and provided the turbo engine as standard. A special Carrol Shelby suspension, available only with the XT, provided performance gas charged shocks and struts, and larger solid front and rear anti-sway bars, with P225/50VR15 tires. The has a wrap-around front fascia. Lower body-side sill spoilers are also added, squaring off the sides. These changes made the Laser XT the most aggressive looking Laser ever. The Flash Red was available on the XT only. The XT, ran 0-60 mph sprint in a hair under eight seconds. Quarter-mile came up in under 16 seconds, which was faster than the Camero Z28 and Pontiac GrandAm in the 1986 model year.

I am still waiting for this little car to get the credits it deserves.

I remember those also known as the Dodge Daytona. I am glad to see you are keeping this alive and well. There was a show on the Speed channel called American Muscle Car and then end of the show always ended the same way" And remember...don't crush em'...restore em'" Netflix has the entire series for viewing as well.
