Some of you guys sound like he owes you. Now if you had actual dollars invested in the project.

I ordered mine from Plinker Tactical and recieved three within a week. price was right, quality and fit are good and they are in stock.
As for ammo, I'm stationed in North Dakota currently and Wal Mart gets about three shipments a week. CCi and Winchester this week. I've been buying a few each time, leaving some for the locals and just being patient. I spoke to them about .223 and they indicated that they will eventually get some here.
Good luck folks, be patient and resourceful!

How do you figure that? What have you invested in the project that gives you any ownership in it or demand upon him for an update?
I'd like an update, too, but I am not OWED one. He doesn't OWE any of us anything.

Because when someone says they are going to do something I hold them to it, as I would expect to be held to it.

There are a lot of anxious people here, especially since the availability of magazines is very, very low. Combined with the scarcity of ammunition, things become worse. Potential magazine limits also add to the feelings of desperation.
It's difficult to be patient, but this seems to be a side project for DT. Life throws in all kinds of things that delay projects.
I would love an update on the status of these magazines. However, I do not know what is happening in DT's life. So... I just have to remind myself to be patient and that DT will let us know what is going on very soon. I may not "like" it, but that really is all I (or any one of us) can do.

I agree. While I don't feel "owed," I do seem to recall a post about having many rounds fired through the mags alluding to them being funtional and reliable. And seems like there were several posts that mentioned when a camera was obtained, a quick video would be posted. Well, a camera was obtained and no video? And no posts from DT... Anyone sent him a PM?
I mean, it's a crazy world - he could be sick, in a car wreck, snapped up by Obama's Hi-cap Mag Police, etc. (although certainly we all hope nothing ill has happened.) Just saying, there could be multiple reasons why no video exists. But I do agree that it is odd that none has been posted.
I'll cast my bets that increased legal red tape has sucked the fight out of DT. (Again, hope that isn't the case.)

Didn't he only say that his next post would be a video? I can't recall exactly, but I don't remember him saying a time frame, only next post. It was also brought up that there was a possibility he didn't want to leak any excess info about it through video because of patent issues. So maybe he's just keeping his word and not posting anything until he's ready to show the video. If he only posted an update and not a video, he would be going against his word, correct?

Nope, it's not my project. I just think it's funny how perfect strangers on an Internet forum seem to think they are entitled to something just because they read a post about a project in some stage of development. Then again, that's popular thinking the last few years. The OP has no obligation to tell you, me, or anyone else what he is doing.

Why? People just need to be patient. DT will post when he is able/ready to post. There's no fighting going on here, so no need to lock the thread.

All I was saying is that towards the end of the year (2012) he said he would have a video posted shortly after getting a camera. Got the camera nothing. Then it was around shot show, still nothing. I understand the process and all but some things just don't add up. I am still hoping that he is manufacturing this magazine and only time will tell what happens.

DT is developing a product a lot of us are wanting but we don't see all the other issues he may be dealing with...patents, production problems, legal or financial issues....
It's easy to develop/fabricate something one off for yourself but to make sure it is produced to your specs for mass production takes time.
If it comes to fruition then great! I will be excited and hopeful to get a couple...but things happen sometimes that are beyond our control...
