Do you eat sardines?
I like the Norwegian Brisling ones. Prefer the King Oscar brand, and my favorite packing is what they call their Mediterranean style. I also like the tomato packing and am trying to get my grocers to order the Dijon mustard pack.
I tried the olive oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, etc. and it's too oily/slimy and leaves a mess to clean up.
My mother used to buy a larger oval can of some other kind of sardine. Those like that that I see now come from Mexico.
I also like the sardines from Morocco. The oil they're packed in isn't as messy.
I eat 'em with whole wheat and peanut butter crackers or just plain crackers. It's a good quick snack before I go to bed or out to run an errand and haven' t time for a real meal. They go well as a snack on hunting or fishing trips, too. You can cram a can or two in your hunting coat and have food if you get lost overnight.
Never met a woman who liked them, so your wife will stay out of your stash in the kitchen cabinet.
Anyone else here like them?
