Take a look at the dates on many of the magazine posts. S&W has been doing this for years. The guy at the gun shop told me to buy the magazines first, because S&W marazines are impossible to get.

I just ordered one off of CTD last Mon for I wanna say $30.59? I think the total after shipping was $40 and received it that Thursday....quickest shipping I've ever gotten....I was amazed how fast I received it. I too saw them for $60 a pop and was like no thanks and a day later I found them on CTD.

10 rounds are in stock at CTD & Grabagun. I saw someone say they can be easily made into 12 rounds by removing the plastic limiter.

That is correct.

It has been said before and I am going to reiterate:

Go to MIDWAY. Put an email alert on either the 10-round or 12-round magazine. I get both text messages and emails for products there once they come available.

When you get the alert order it and you are done. No effort.

My 10-round magazine will be here tomorrow. $26.99 + Shipping.

As soon as I check the legality in my state (VA) I will take the 30 seconds to remove the aluminum spacer and convert it to a 12-round magazine.

Ebay has plenty of 22lr mags

Ebay has tons of the 10 Round Mags, all reasonably priced. I got 2 mags for 39.99 each, w/free shipping. That's not much more than you would spend normally. Just convert them from the 10 round to 12, and woolah, your set !
