Here's my baby, a year old M&P 9mm with...
Storm Lake match grade ported barrel
Pachmayr grip
Extended magazine, 22 round capacity.
Hand polished slide (mag polish), slightly polished, not too much nor too little
Planed mods, trigger job and night sights.

The holster I carry it in is a Desantis Scabbard, looks just like this.

What did you use on your color fill? I'm getting a shield for my wife and would love to do this.

One of the most common color fill materials is nail polish, using a non-acetone nail polish remover to first clean the surface, and then to gently remove any excess color.

I've used metallic-filled gold and silver on my slides and the engraved markings on my full-sized magazines. When using the metallics, use only those with very fine particles. unfortunately, these can be difficult and time consuming to get the particles off of the polymer parts of the frame and magazines if you get it outside the area you want to color.
