The one at the top of my wish list should be in the mail right now. It is an 8 round model 627.

I will graciosly state that in the realm of firearms, I have everything I want, thought I wanted, or could foreseeably want. Consequently the children's possible inheritance is quite small.

An Unertl scope, 1" tube, 16X, 2" objective, has faint stirrings of want for my Kimber 22 target rifle, but it is a real faint want.

Registered Magnum Serial #1, wasn't that J. Edgar Hoover's piece, that never surfaced in his estate?

A 696, a 3913, and a nice 15 or 67. And especially, the return of the WWII bring-back Walther PP, given to me when I was about twelve by a family friend who had taken it from a Wehrmacht officer he said "didn't need it anymore". In the flap-over holster with the very late owner's name penciled inside the flap. Someone tried to steal it when I was 14 and my mother sold it and another gun at a pawnshop for fifteen bucks.

Outside of some family guns that were stolen, one of them a colt new frontier that had belonged to audie murphy originaly, and seven others,
I would like to have a winchester 92 made to my specifcations. It would be the short rifle, octogon barrel, button magazine, color case harden, extra long butt stock with dark red fancy walnut, a williams foolproof, and in .256 winchester magnum.
2nd choice frank hammers colt saa "old lucky", or the triplelock he threw his wife in a shootout.

By the way, here again for the umphteenth time is that colt new frontier .45 colt. Made in 1965, serial #5355 NF. One of a consectivly numbered matched pair that he willed to his two sons. Whoever my ex sold it to in 1986 must be sweating as I have posted it many times elsewhere.

I guess there is not a single firearm i don't want.

I wan't two of everything, one for shooting and one for collecting.

On a more serious part, i have a soft spot for Blackpowder firearms
I miss the BrownBess i had to sell, so i realy would like to have one again. :o

For me, a NIB Bren Ten Dual Master set and a NIB Bren Ten Jeff Cooper Commemorative Model with everything including the certificate with the original signatures. Only about 25 of the first made and a dozen of the latter produced.

Just my little corner of the collecting world I guess.

I want a bolt action double barrel rifle, action ejects both chambers and reloads both from a box magazine. This and about 50 more in the NRA Museum in Virginia.
