6904 most of the time but have been known to tote a 2 1/2" 66 or an M&P 357c. I've never carried the 686 pictured with the 66...thought I might when I bought it and it's a fine revolver but the 66 is just too perfect.

I am Retired and live in the Toolies, ie the Country.

My EDC is a Wilson Compact X Tac 1911 in 45 ACP, I also EDC a Freedom Arms 22 Mag Mini Revolver with 4 22 Mag CCI shotshells, for snakes.
I carry these 100% of the time, when at home.

When I leave my Place and go to Town, I load the 22 Mag with HP ammo, and add a S&W 38 Special Bodyguard to my EDC.

Sometimes I substitute other handguns as a primary, when traveling to a certain kind of hunt, ie bears, etc. But I always carry the S&W Bodyguard, and the FA 22 Mag. When on the road I also take the extra 22 LR cylinder for the FA Mini Revolver.

9c or a 40FS in a Aegis Armory Guardian tucked in my back pocket, or IWB cross draw. This is super comfortable. I use a Galco KingTuck too, but it depends on what I'm wearing.

How do you carry the 340?

My current carry is G30S in a Hidden Hybrid Holster. Otherwise I just throw the dice and pick between a G19, G30S, G27, XDS45, Shield 9, CM9, M&P340, CW380, or LCP depending on what I have to do and what I'm wearing. I'm hoping to pick up an SP101 soon as well.

Lately a Kahr CW45 in a Lobo Gun Leather IWB holster with a spare magazine. For a quick grab-n-go, my LCP in a pocket holster and of course a spare mag.

How do you carry the 340? ...

You asked Chuck, but for my 340pd, I use either the newer model Versacarry (with the trigger guard) or a MIC holster (either IWB or in the front pocket).

For me, the J-frame prints less in the front pocket than even the small BG .380 (assuming no bulky holster for the revolver). Despite being longer, taller, and thicker, the curves and rounded surfaces look more like natural folds in the clothing, while a semi-auto in the pocket, even a small one, looks like an oddly shaped phone or a gun. To my eye it draws more attention.

This, of course, is my experience in my size pocket. YMMV.

I'm done with CC. I'm going completely OC from now on. Since it's subzero outside, I'll be wearing a loincloth, Sorrel boots, and a Stormy Kromer cap today. I think I'll pack a Barrett .50 cal. That ought to do it for cold weather. When it warms up, I'll change to a Speedo, flip flops, a ball cap, and extra sunscreen. I'll top off the ensemble with an AK-47 or CAR-15. I love OC. It's all about accessories
