I know every tourist that goes to Hawaii buys at least one, so they will blend in and look like a native. :D But other than that, does anyone wear them? I see them in stores and think they look nice and would be comfortable, but I think I would be the only one in town that has one! :(

Do the stores just sell them to one another. I see them mentioned as concealed cover shirts, so does that narrow them down to the tourists in Hawaii and concealed carry folks?

So, Really, do any of you wear Hawaiian Shirts?

Yes I love them. I started wearing them on cruises and liked them so I wear them sometimes around home during the summer. They're cool and since they are worn with the shirt tails out and are kind of loose I can carry pretty much any of my CCWs OWB.

I see quite a few at the local gunshows. Don't know why but some of the folks seem to use it as a trademark.

The rayon ones are the coolest and the best IMHO. The Polyester ones are to hot in the "Texas heat".

I wear them; especially while on vacation. It seems to embarrass my kids. My wife has grown used to it. Actually, they are quite cool and comfortable, even if they do look ridiculous.

My son once played baseball with a kid whose grandfather always brought him to the games. The old man, without fail, wore a Hawaiian shirt and camouflage pants. Turns out he had family who ran a local factory that made the pants, and he found the shirts to be comfortable.

He was a nice old fella even if he did look funny. I sort of look forward to the age when I don't care what I look like. It seems like it's getting closer all the time.

I have reached the age where I could give a **** what I look like or care what people think about me. Yes I wear Hawaiian Shirts and have for years there cool comfortable, and I like the colors and patterns.

Yes, in summer. That's assuming that we ever have summer again. Tommy Bahamas are the best IMO. They're well made but a bit pricey. I've purchased a number of them when we vacation in Maui. Here's a pic of the store in Whaler's Village on Kaanapali beach. I think you can buy them on the mainland as well.

My old man used to wear them back in the day. I think he liked looking a little goofy and found them comfortable in the summer.

I'm not promising I'll never wear them. But I can get the same comfot without the flowers in a nice solid or stripe pattern button up. So that tends to be the direction I go.

I heard that they only made one of those shirts and it gets passed around, they are like fruit cakes, nobody eats them, they just pass them on to someone else.:D

My wife cringes whenever I walk out the door wearing one. She says they look like clown shirts. I think they're retro cool, and I've worn them at parties since I was in college. I've been known to wear them over a long sleeve turtleneck in the dead of winter. Now that's stylin'.:D
