That'll get your attention! Looks like a good sized cat.

What exit is "Enchantment "? I'd like to know so I never accidentally pull over to have a roadside picnic.

If you have mule deer you will have those. That is a big one! I have a friend who lives rural. He has a pond that elk come to. On night a cat killed a 4 year old cow elk in the pond by biting through the skull just above the eyes. He then dragged the elk out of the pond over the dam and down into the spillway where the grass was long & covered it with grass. He had to have the Div. of Wildlife come up so he could put it in a trailer to haul off so it wouldn't become bear bait. That was the second lion killed elk we have seen up there.

Yes, tons of mule deer, some are fed by hand through out my neighborhood which doesn't help, we have Elk too but, the bulls are to smart to come close. The mule deer are so numerous that they are mutated or inbred and dwarfed and need to be taken out one way or another:( It's no wander the cougars thrive here.

That is a big cat, what is the height of the water bucket, I am guessing about 2 feet?

Yup seen its cousin up in the green mountains of Vermont. Funny thing is they claim there are no mountainlions there. They lied. I tracked these in the higher elevations first. Now as they multiply there in the lower elevations too now.

There in ct too. This is a 180/200# kitty cat that wants to eat us. Ccw a 44 snubbie.

If you search youtube there is a video from a guy who lives up outside of Colorado Springs using his home surveilance cameras caught 3 Pumas checking out his house.

We have had sightings here in Western IL within the past couple of years. DNR tells us the range of a "cat" is up to 300 miles. The frequency we are seeing them tells me they are closer to home here now.
