What tv show do you watch, should be ashamed to admit it, but arent?

I liked that show "Titus" and I don't care who knows it :D

titus was very funny...i wish it had lasted longer...

i've gotta say Charmed...Alyssa Milano scantily clad...turn the volume down, make up your own dialog and its an award winner...

I'm of American Indian descent and as I understand it I'm supposed to be outraged at racial stereotypes but I find FTroop hilarious.
The Hackawi Indians had me laughng out loud.
It's kinda sad that in todays politically correct world there'll never be another show like it.

One of the funniest scenes from the movie Texas Across The River was cut out after the initial showing for political correctness. In this scene a drunken Indian manages to ride his horse under a low tree branch and get swept right out of the saddle.
I use to like watching G.L.O.W. Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling . My then teenage daughter thought it was a hoot so we would watch it together and it used to really P.O. my wife. That made watching it all the more fun.
BTW: The show producer was Sylvester Stallone's mother!

Can't say I watch anything I'm ashamed to confess to--damn sure not ashamed to say I love the old Loony Tunes stuff, pre-1958.

I guess the nearest to being embarrassing would be "Robot Chicken" and "Squidbillies". :D

No apologies for "Futurama" or occasionally "Family Guy". Never really got too fired up over "The Simpsons".

My bad habit is watching shows over and over. Documentaries, "The First 48", "River Monsters" and other nature shows, and so on.

Why does it not surprise me, Snub, that your sense of humor has room for "F Troop"? :D

Of course, "Hackawi" was the cleaner version...

DANCING WITH "THE STARS"

Kind of an oxymoron like a "GENTLEMANS" club, or "THE SPORT OF KINGS". I've never run into many Kings or Gentlemen there. My wife and I have become EXPERT armchair quarterbacks in the art of ballroom dance. "omg look at his footwork, they are behind the music, was that a lift, no rhythm, that doesn't look like a traditional passo" LOL. Can I keep my man card? I only watch to please the wife + a MAJOR crush on Karina Smirnoff, even like her Vodka. Were the GLOW girls anything like the Beautiful Ladies Of Wrestling on demand cable? I also had a big crush on Matilda the Hun.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World. I don't think it's on in the US just now, but re-runs come and go. I don't get a lot of cable channels...

Some of the sci-fi aspects were a little "out there" for my taste, but I liked the jungle adventure part and the mostly authentic guns and the dinosaurs, which were better after the First Season. All Special Effects were far better in the last two seasons.

I liked all the cast but Dr. Summerlee, who was written out after the initial season. I found him too prissy and a bit of a scold. I liked the way that Prof. Challenger mellowed and became more humane, as did the ruthless heiress, Marguerite Krux. When Finn arrived from the 21st Century, I liked her a lot. I had a bit of a crush on her. But I really thought that she should replace her little crossbow with guns, which I think she would have, if real. I dare not say much about the delightful Veronica Layton on this board, or I'll get in trouble. BTW, Veronica was played by Jennifer O'Dell, the lone American in the cast. All other actors were Australian, save for two Canadians and a New Zealander.

I own all three seasons on DVD and still like the show.
But the executive writers told fans that if the cancelled Fourth Season had taken place, they meant to have Challenger go to Mars with the ET's from one episode and they wanted to make the whole show more like, Star Trek, which they admire and for which they subsequently wrote books, "with" William Shatner.

Had they focussed more on jungle adventure, I'd have liked it better. I could even stand the reptilian pseudo Roman, Tribune, and his legions.

And the Amazon girls were colorful and used real Roman style gladius swords, much better and more authentic than the swords used in the same producers' series like, "Xena", which failed to interest me. "The Lost World" cost a lot to make, and this was ultimately its doom. It usually led ratings in its time periods, but too many TV stations kept moving it around. And it got sold a lot. In my area, at least three stations showed it at various times. Then, TNT and other cable channels ran it for years.

I'm not ashamed to admire The Lost World. It had much better actors than some series, although a few cast members also guested on, "Xena". Lara Cox (Finn) was a guest star on, "Beastmaster", too. (But not as Finn.)

Any other Lost World fans here? One or two have posted over the years. BTW, Rachel Blakely (Marguerite) is half American. Her Dad is from the US. I think that like Nicole Kidman, Rachel holds dual citizenship. But she considers herself to be Australian and her partner and children are full Aussies.

I think you can catch some full episodes on YouTube, but that varies, as they sometimes get concerned about copyright. But there are MANY fan videos made from clips of the series. You can learn what the characters look like from those before you order any DVDs. Note: Summerlee is only in First Season episodes and Finn didn't appear until the Third Season.

I have only an antenna and get only a few channels. I watch "Days of Our Lives" every day and sometimes "The Young and The Restless". It is humiliating I suppose, but I'm admitting to it and now I feel so much better for sharing my choices of viewing pleasure. My grand Daughter likes them too but my Wife thinks we are both crazy. What does she know?
Peace,
Gordon

Before I retired I never got to watch TV.

Now that I am retired I watch a lot of it.

I watch a LOT of Law and Order.

My favorite movies are from 1932 to say 1950.

I also watch a lot of the shows on LMT [Lifetime Movie Network], this might fall under the ashamed to admit....

I also like the Drivens, Diners, and Dives show, and a few other cooking shows, and the Military Channel, as well as the SCI FI channel.

I am watching NASCAR right now, AND, cooking chicken in the oven and cream peas on the stove....

This is hard for me to explain. I loved watching McHale's Navy and it was funny, but some episodes seemed 'dark' to me and not just because it was wartime. Probably different writers filled in or something.

Its been close to 40 years since ive seen an episode. Ernest Borgnine was a natural for comedy. I wish he had dome much more comedy. The guy who was their Japanese ""captive"" Yoshiro Yoda--is now head of I think Toyota. That guy was funny as heck. Tim Conway was a master.

I never did get why they transferred to Italy towards the end of the show? unless it was an attempt to revive ratings?

WWE, The Simpsons, Gilligan's island, Mounten monsters, and yes Leave it to beaver. Although I have to admit I liked Eddie Haskell better then the Beav.

The Simpsons--and South Park are more of mine. Some of the King of the Hill was Ok, never did like American Dad--and only small doses of Family Guy.

All In The Family was one of my favorites, maybe a little on the edge but not something to be ashamed of. Today it would not be "politically correct".

Loved the show. My Grandmother was the nicest person in the World-and never missed anything to do with Church--and she loved the show--along with Maude. I couldnt stand Maude--but loved All in the Family/Archie Bunkers Place. Loved The Jeffersons and Sanford and Son--but hated (after season 1) Good Times. That was because John Amos left.

I watched "Leave it to Beaver" when it was on network TV back in the late 50s and early 60s...I've never seen it on any channel we get now. Recently, one of the channels we get started playing "Gilligan's Island" but I've only watched one episode...seems kind of silly now.

When it comes to old shows, I like watching "Andy Griffith" and "I Love Lucy." I have rarely seen it come on, but I really like "The Dick Van Dyke Show." Same for "Green Acres" and "The Bob Newhart Show" (the first series.) Somewhat newer and frequently on are "Frasier", "Friends", and "Cheers."

I don't watch much network TV now...there doesn't seem to be much worth watching on anymore. I will confess to watching "Dancing With The Stars" (which is as much of pretty women dancing in skimpy attire that my wife will allow.)

My favorite current show is "Sons of Anarchy" which is decidedly not general family fare...I don't see how they can top last season, but I'll be watching to find out!

Ive got about 4-5 seasons of Andy Griffith but--ill stop collecting it when Barney is no more. Ive been getting into Frasier, King of Queens and of course Sleepy Hollow, The Walking Dead and now--Turn.

Borgnine and Conway....

Its been close to 40 years since ive seen an episode. Ernest Borgnine was a natural for comedy. I wish he had dome much more comedy. Tim Conway was a master.

Here's one to admit, I haven't watched it in a long time but 'Spongebob Squarepants' could be irritating and stupid, but it could be hilarious at times.

The funniest shows had Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway voicing a couple of retired 'Aquaman'-type superheroes. In the last episode they were in a nursing home. I swannee I could have peed in my pants laughing.:):):)
