Does the standard M&P 15-22 come with a compensator? Or just the MOE version? Also, can you put a 2 point sling on a standard 15-22?

No 15-22 comes with a
compensator from the factory. Some models come with a
FLASH HIDER. They are two different items with two different functions.
A
flash hider does just what it says, hides (to some extent) the muzzle flash and nothing else.
A
compensator is a device with holes and slots to reduce muzzle climb and rearward recoil. Depending upon the design, they may or may not hide/reduce the muzzle flash.
A
muzzle brake (NOT break) is a device designed to reduce muzzle climb and rearward recoil. Most do not reduce muzzle flash, but may actually make it more visible - and they generally increase the report because they direct the gasses sideways and to the rear.
In reality, the muzzle flash of .22 LR is so minor a flash hider is more cosmetic than actually useful. For most shooters, it's simply what many call "tacticool". Likewise, the compensator and muzzle brake. Unless specifically designed for .22 LR, they do little, if any, actual recoil reduction. Such devices designed for .223/5.56 are useless on .22s, except to add a few ounces of weight at the muzzle.
Yes, you can put a two-point sling on a 15-22. Several companies make adaptors to do so, including one of the vendors here, Tacticool.com. Jody makes some great products for the 15-22 and other firearms.
