Just got a phone call from NRA. I thought they were looking for a donation, but actually they were offering upgrades on memberships. The girl said I could get 5 years for $100.00. I asked about a Life membership. Half off right now at $500.00 and you can do monthly or quarterly payments if you want. Been wanting to do this for years.

Congratulations. That could be considered a wise investment.

I see a couple of other members mentioned the benefit of the defense of the Second Amendment by contributing to the NRA. I would agree with that observation.

Can anyone think of any amendment, other than the Second Amendment, which requires constant vigilance and monetary support in order to maintain it?
