I have to say that I find the continued interest in the grip adapter curious.
It just seems to me that a boot grip type of stock (by whatever name, I refer to the type that fills in the space behind the trigger guard, but which does not extend below the grip frame at the bottom) will do the same job without being wobbly, etc.
I understand why the grip adapter came about, but it seems to me that, apart from nostalgia, there are other products that do the job better than a grip adapter, except in one respect. And that is looks.
It is simply impossible to make a better looking service type revolver, whether the 2 inch, 3 inch, 3 1/2 inch, or 4 inch variety, than a gorgeous revolver that takes you back to a time that most of us oldies wish we could go back to.
Thus, for photography, nostalgia, or just because you want it the way it was "back in the day," that is OK with me.
All of that said, I agree there is a seemingly strong demand for the grip adapter. I have to say that I wish the Tyler company well, as I do BK grips. We have lost too many good companies due to changing needs and wants.
Perhaps we should all just order a set so they can get an influx of cash to help them out a little. Otherwise, we all run a risk of losing another old line company.
Good luck to Tyler and BK.
My preference in grip adapters was always Pachmayr and S&W.
