Just in general, I would like to comment on the various statements concerning one's "look" and how it can protect you. A truly mean person is going to do what they are going to do, your look will not deter them at all. In fact, it may just make them angrier and more determined.

If the typical OC'er seems to be "one item of apparel short of the people of Walmart", it's because he IS TPoWM. I see more OCers in Walmart than anywhere else and to a man, each looks like some iteration of survivalist-druggie-chip on the shoulder disreputable type.

You left out cowboys...Altogether that describes 80 percent of the population of Wyoming. The other 20 percent are either tourists or new folks yet to go native and thus not to be trusted...Ven if they is awful purty and smells like soap.

Like so many other things in life, just because you can doesn't always mean that you should.

I remember my mother "discussing" my older sister's short skirt with her circa 1964. Her philosophy (and the only one that counted) was something like "Just because it fits does not mean it looks good."
