I'm doing research for holsters for my new shield. I've read some posts and looked up the brands people have mentioned. The ones I'm looking at are hidden hybrid, crossbreed supertuck, remora carbon carry, and old faithful. I have some questions about comfort and material. Looking at the online pictures, the part that touches your skin looks to be very stiff and uncomfortable. I had a high noon holster before for my revolver but there was no backing so I've no experience with these. I saw a youtube review of the super tuck and it looked great. I love the idea of it being adjustable for height/cant. What is the benefit of horsehide? It's more money but I don't know if I need it. Hidden hybrid has polymer clips, I don't know if those are better than the standard clips. Remora is on sale so that's a benefit if they are pretty much the same.
I am also looking at getting a pistolwear PT2 for running. I've read that you should also have it in a pocket holster and some have mentioned Desantis sticky pocket holster. Has anyone used this combination?
Is anyone willing to post pictures of their Shield in the holster so I can see what they look like with that specific gun please?
TIA
edit-spoke to cs at Cross breed, she suggested the premium cowhide instead of the horsehide. She said it was easier to break in and more comfortable.
