I apologize, as this topic has probably been done to death, but I recently bought a 9mm Shield. I picked it up to be my concealed carry gun when I finally get my license, it will split time with a P-07. With the weight of the P-07, I think I'm going to go with a hybrid holster for it to spread out the weight, but I feel like with how light and small the Shield is I shouldn't have an issue with a smaller holster.

Specifically, I've been thinking about a Foxx Trapp and a DeSantis Cozy Partner. Admittedly two very different holsters, but I've only ever had hybrids or paddle holsters so I don't have much experience outside of that.

So, looking for input from people about the two above holsters. Or, if you have a recommendation for another holster in the $50 range I'd appreciate it.

I just ordered a holster from a maker close to me. When I get it in my hands next week, I'll let you know how good it works. He charges $45 for this holster. Time will tell if it's the right thing.

Get a kydex clamshell holster. There are lots of makers out there making them. It is comfortable and holds the pistol very well. Easy to clip on and take off. Check out Cook's holsters or Clinger holsters

In Texas I'm usually wearing shorts and use a desantis pocket holster. I also use it for pants with big pockets, like quick dry convertible pants for hiking, kayaking, fishing, and camping. I love it. For jeans I use an alien gear cloak tuck 2.0 and I love it too.

I've been using a Crissbreed Super Tuck for the past couple of years, and will attest that when they break in, they're pretty comfortable and do not print. Mine are for a G26 and an M&P 9c; the Shield is much thinner and should print even less. I got a Crossbreed Freedom Carry (for the 9c) last week for AIWB, and am working on seeing how well this works for me. Also take a look at Black Point Tactical. For OWB, they make a hybrid leather-Kydex "wing" holster that looks promising. I don't know anything about the holsters you've mentioned, but this is my experience.

For my Shield I use a DeSantis thumb break scabbard. Excellent quality and concealability. In Florida we rarely wear more than cargo shorts and t-shirts and that DeSantis makes the Shield disappear, despite my rather generous size.
Thumbs up for DeSantis.

I use a Versacarry leather holster. It is an OWB, conceals very well. Can not beat the quality or price.

I have used an N82 for almost two years.
I live if Florida and mostly dress in T shirts and have no problem printing. I also have one for a LC9 but that gun has gone to another !
Very comfortable. Keeps gun away from skin!
