I want what they got! ;)

A Nice day here today other than being a little warm.
We are supposed to get some possibly ugly weather here
tomorrow. Cold front and Warm front converging.
Just saw where a young girl was killed by a falling tree
on her cabin. You all watch out for those old dead trees,
and the dead falls that hang up in the tops.
Everyone stay safe.

Howdy everyone.
I've been a busy little Injun (well, maybe not so little) and it's been interfering with my drift time.
My wife and I have been doing lotsa hiking.
I got my Solstice hike video done but it's taking a long time to upload.
We don't have high speed internet, just DSL.
I'll post it here when it's done.
One warning though; if anyone has a problem with a shirtless gimpy Injun, don't watch it.
Now to go back and get caught up in the drift.

Looking on line at new tennis shoes.

Every thing I've looked at are made in China? All the top brands!

But I guess, somebody has to keep the Chinese Children working?

Look at Mizuno, they are made in Vietnam mostly.

Brooks are another of my favorites and are mostly made in China, but it is an American company. Mizuno is a Japanese company and their shoes are mostly made in Vietnam.

New Balance is an American company that has limited US manufacturing, but most of their shoes are made in various Asian countries. I've had some quality issues with New Balance shoes recently, but I'll still buy them if I find a pair I like for the price.

Those are my preferred brands, but there are a bunch of other brands I'd try if I get a deal on them. I'm the same way with shoes as I am with beer.

.

I normally buy New Balance. The New Balance retail store I deal with gives me a Hell of a deal. I have to buy two pair! My left foot is a 9 1/2 Med. and my prosthetic leg/foot is a 10 wide. For stability.

The first time I went there, the Manager "Matt" about cried when I told him I didn't need but the two shoes out of the two pair. He asked what I wanted to do the two extra shoes, that I didn't need? I told him to donate them? He said great idea. Id guess someone, somewhere could use them? He said they donate tons of display, discountinued lines ETC shoes yearly.

But I Like New Balance. BUT they are SO boring! I want some bright neon light weight Summer shoes! Something with some pizazz!

But it sucks, having to buy two pairs! Oh well, life goes on. But at least someone else also benefits!
