You all sure have been busy today! Took me quite awhile to get caught up. Got an email today that says I am going to get a refund from some court case where they were overcharging me for electronic books( I have 300 maybe?) probably get fifty cents! Have to get a shower and cool down so, Drifton!

Thanks for posting this. Very interesting but I didn't see a price tag. I truly believe we have to depend on technology but something like the space program could possibly move us faster and farther in the direction we need to go.Even though energy costs are relatively low here, a local builder is finishing up a net-zero development. Combined with a plug-in electric or hybrid vehicle, it offers a turnkey energy solution.

I go through a pair of shoes very four to six weeks. I wear a very common 10 1/2 D on both feet but my left foot is flat and I have other issues so support, stability, and guidance shoes are what I look for.
My current shoe stable is pictured. The singles sitting on boxes are new in box waiting their turn in the rotation.
Back row left to right New Balance 690 v4, Brooks Ghost 7, Mizuno Wave Inspire, Mizuno Wave Creation 17, Brooks Ravenna 6; front row left to right new in box, Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15, Brooks Ravenna 6, Mizuno Wave Paradox.
My favorite shoe is the Brooks Transcend but they command top dollar. New Balance turned me off when I got a deal on their top end model 990 (Made in the USA) at $100 and they wore out after less than 100 miles. I also had a pair of their 600 level walking shoes fail prematurely, and I have a friend that had a pair of trail runners come apart after a month of low mileage use. The 690 minimalist runners have held up well and I got them as a DSW closeout for 70% off, they were an online order returned to a store that did not stock that style. They fit me and for $21 I was willing to take a chance.

Loading will begin at 0630 tomorrow. The reefer has already handled 100 ships in two days. But they have the facilities to get the job done. I worked on semi-annual fitness reports all morning and was certainly glad to call a halt at lunch. At 1830 a small group of kamikazes penetrated the anchorage and hit the Kenneth Whiting and 30 minutes later they hit her sister the Curtiss, both seaplane tenders. They also sank the LSM 59 towing the hulk Barry which sank too.
Following dinner we had a bridge game and a movie. Two flash reds were called. As Yolo is the closest vessel to shore we, act as a smoke boat giving the others protection. Under such conditions, we see all around; our guns are manned and ready. The wind continues to blow giving us little rest from the roll that sweeps in from the southeast.

A point of clarification! If it is Aliens, it will not be 'stupid' probes. They will be 'smart' probes! This is how smart, south end north bound horse, types are made!
Stupid probes involve the government!
How do I know? I was born in Roswell a short time after a well publicized event occurred!
You know a 'weather balloon' fell from the sky?
The little men in silver suits, let the government cover it up, lots of stupid probes were handed out, hence several got away, and the hordes have been roaming since!

For the first year I was devastated! But decided I'd rather Laugh than Cry! The Good Lord kept me here for a reason. When it happened, I asked him several times to just let me die. And almost did 3 times. But he chose not to take me. So I excepted it and moved on.
Goes to prove, with Faith, Family, Freinds and a good sense of humor, you can get through most anything!
But, PLEASE, No Pirate Jokes! Arrrrrr! Just kidding! That's my Holloween Costume every year! I just can't find a dependable Parrot! They're all Union! And work strange hours!

One of the photo's in the house's web page, shows an outdoor sign stating prices "from the $250's". That is about what the local market gets for a high-quality house of that size.
The most effective involvement of government in this process so far, has been making tax credits available to the home owner. Combining federal and state tax credits with incentives from electric utilities, helps make a compelling case for renewable energy.

Natayo's takin' to hiding.
Usually right when we're about to go somewhere.
Usually, before we go, we take a head count to make sure that none of the cats are stuck in a closed room or anything.
We were getting ready to head out for a Father's day trip and before we left we did a head count.
Couldn't find Natayo.
Searched the house, looking under and behind stuff with flashlights, no Natayo.
The room I store leather in is also used as a general storage room (junk room) and we had some stuff we were taking with us in there.
We searched that room a few times.
Finally, we just had to get going.
After we got home, we heard scratching on the junk room door. My wife opened the door and out comes Natayo.
There must be some kind of an interdimensional cat accessible portal in our house.
Another time, my wife was at work and I was getting ready to go out for a hike.
There's Sandy, there's Sara, now where's Natayo?
Couldn't find him anywhere.
I left, ran some errands in town and came back home to drop off the mail.
There's Natayo laying in the middle of the floor.
