I have known her for 30+ years. We are friends. I have worked with her many times and rebuilt the strats she wore down on the road.

She is a kind, gentle soul with a good reputation. Whatever happened was probably out of her control. Next time I talk to her I will ask about it.

Sorry you were inconvenienced.

That's good. They mentioned they might get her to schedule a date at the end of the series. It's every Wednesday night.

Thanks L n L:

I currently have a Redbone CD loaded in my truck! I Loved Pat and Lolly Vegas! Lolly hit some mean licks on his guitar! And Tony (T Bone) Bellamy had some killer traditional dance moves and also a Great Guitarist!! They say Jimi Hendrix was a big fan of Pat and Lolly's!

It just brings backs memories, of my Cruising in the early days in Nashville!

I had to get out to pick up some car parts. Damn, it's hot! Feels like 175 degrees!

My tiny chip in my trucks windsheild has spread, from top dead center to 3/4 the way down towards the bottom. Tiny chip is now a LOOONG ugly crack. I've been putting it off for a few weeks. But time to get ur done! Fixing to order it. OH well, nothing but money, time and energy. To witch I have none of!

Windshield is ordered. I'll need to be there at 9:00. Maybe beat the heat a little. He said since I'm coming to him, it's only $120 installed, since its me. He's been my Auto Glass guy since 1998-1999. He knows I pay cash. And he'll knock it out.

When my windsheild first got cracked, I called my insurance company. They told me with my full coverage and their discount. They'd send someone straight out for $380! WHAT? More than 3 times my cost. I told them I'd have to pass!

Windsheilds and Tires are about the only thing that are still reasonable. I know what your going to say. Did he say tires? Yes tires! I've been locked in with a major distributor since 1982. And get the same prices as any major retailer. And all Major Brands. I don't have to pay Two or three middle men profit on tires. All my buddies call me for tires.

And another buddy, mounts and computer balances all my tires with his new high tech machines for $10 each and that includes putting them back on the car/truck. And doesn't charge me a disposal fee. He now can do up to 26" wheels. And he don't charge me to patch a tire and re balance it. I've delt with him for 10-12 years.

It pays to have connections!

Just Heard:

Jury says Led Zeppelin did NOT steal the riff to Stairway To Heaven!

Not sure of the details? But too bad, to the family that brought up the law suit 40 something years too late! And wonder if they will have to pay Led Zeppelin's attorney fees and court costs?

Just finished my second shower of the day and put on my third clean t-shirt. The chores for the day are done. My smartphone fitness apps say I walked 8.9 miles today. Therefore it is Beer Time!

Having PBR today as I did yesterday. The back of the can touts their support of music and the arts. Very hip.

Good beer at a good price.

Cheers!

This should cover any Dregs, Dixie or otherwise...

Man, I love that line: "Two degrees in bebop, a PHD in swing,
He's a master of rhythm, he's a rock &
roll king!"

Rusty, I haven't heard any Dregs in way to long...& I had forgotten just how good they were...

It was another member of the band that started the suit. He got the rights after the guitar player died. It's pretty evident somebody borrowed from somebody. The guitar player from Taurus is dead. He and Page knew each other. They toured with each other. They may have even been sitting around goofing off and both developed the music together. There may have been booze and drugs involved and foggy memories. They may have agreed to do their own thing with the riff. Evidently, we will never know because the other party is dead, and he wasn't too worried about it when he was alive, which is why he never took any legal action.

Just pretend this is hwitty.

What the national news said was a "Family Trustee" filed the law suit. I assumed the family filed it. I have no clue?

But if I believed everything I heard on the news was true. I'd believe all AR's are all military assault weapons, NOT just replicas of military weapons. And all terrorist are not all bad people, just mostly mis understood. :)
