My friend has a 6.5" 610. It is probably the best shooting revolver I've fired. I'd love to see some new ones.

Bring back the 1006 and 1066. It would do two things: give people more 10mm options and it would compete directly with the Sig P220, in price point and form. The P220 and the Witness are the only 2 all steel non-1911 10mms on the market today.

Hell, bring back all of the 3rd Gens. I much prefer the old autos over the M&Ps.

On that note, also make an M&P10 on the 45 frame to compete with Glock.

yep! It is sad that the beloved 10mm doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I agree, while a remarkable design I feel the 1911 as a SAO firearm is lacking as an all around defensive weapon. The 3rd gen Smith has a simpler manual of arms, is easier to field strip, is every bit as reliable if not more so than 1911s. The various configurations provide more adaptability to individual needs; accuracy will meet or exceed any 1911 manufactured to the same price point.

If Sig can manufacture and market the P220 in today's market I see no reason Smith cannot do the same especially given the prior experience and manufacturing capabilities Smith has in place.

Bring back the 3rd Gens!!!!!!
