My uncle had a 67 and a 69 T-top both with 427 CI engines, and around 800 HP. The first was driven into a cow by a drunk cousin, the second was launching a ski boat and is still at the bottom of Knox Lake! I don't know if Al was involver. You know Al, Al K. Hall along with sister Mary Jane. They wiped out a lot of Vets!

My 86 puts a smile on my face every time I take it out! ;)
Couldn't afford an early 60's car so this one has to do!

I'd say '66.
I had a '67 327/350 horse. Same body and louvres but without the medalion on the upper fender.
What I'd do to have it back.

Years ago, knew a guy who had a split window (1967?). Nice car but had original paint which was fine, just a little faded. He was trying to sell it for $ 8,500.00. Being a kid at the time, it might as well have been $ 100K...I couldn't afford it. Tried to talk Dad into it and he said Mom needed a reliable car for driving to work. Go figure. :)

In the early 90s, as a young cop patrolling...

I came across a shiny 1972 Stingray (cream colored maybe more yellow than cream) with factory ralleye rims. Very clean and the owner was putting a for sale sign on it.

He said give me $2500 and it's yours. I drove away....no $$$$.

Tragic. And a feeling I know only too well.
