.30-06 round for scale.

Didn't think to count BWZip's signs until Tennessee.
Then thought the heck widdit.
Nicely done, though can't beat TargetGuy's
four warbirds for coolness.

There's a link at that site that lets you DL a larger version suitable for wallpaper.

I like how you can see the different angles of attack: One plane is pulled up & looks on his way to stall, one is comfortably cruising, and two are steppin'.

While walking the dogs I saw this lady in a oak tree around the corner from my place being harassed by a couple mockingbirds. When I got home I grabbed my camera just in case and went back. I could not believe she was still there. Once I got my pic into Photoshop I saw why. If I had a crop and it was that full I would not want to fly either.

This is Petra and Rocky. She is laying on me and he is laying on her. Poor pitiful puppies.

I was glad to see this thread re-surface!

I took these at Mt. Rainier National Park last week:

And that's Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens in the background of the first shot.

I've got a Wemacro automated focus rail coming from China on Monday.

I'll be able to do focus stacking with non-autofocus lenses, like my old Minolta manual 50mm, enlarger lenses and microscope objectives.
