At the TOP Left of every page, you will see a button that says: Forum
If you click that button, the Main Menu will appear.
USE it!

You should note that we have MULTIPLE Forums here!
Many of them seem to pertain to specific types of S&W firearms.
Those might be good places to post about specific S&W firearms.
Those forums are also where things pertaining to those firearms go, like boxes and grips and other stuff.
The Lounge is NOT for any topic which has a specific forum for that topic.
LOOK at the menu and see if your topic fits one of those forums.

Firearms & Knives - Other Brands
Post Your Non-S&W Gun, Knife and Blade Topics Here
Do you mean MY Colt?

Gun Leather & Carry Gear
All Holster and Gun Leather Topics
Is this for Holster threads/questions/advice?

Reloading
This Section is Dedicated to Discussion of Reloading Topics.
Would THAT be where I post a reloading thread?

Ammo
I know it says 'Ammo', but does that mean MY ammo?

S&W-Smithing
Maintenance, Repair, and Enhancement of Smith & Wesson Firearms.
I dunno. Your thoughts?

2nd Amendment Forum
2nd Amendment Issues & Discussion
/\ We even define those for you here: Sticky: READ this > HOW to use the 2A Forum

Concealed Carry & Self Defense
I got the concealed carry part, but does the "Self Defense" part mean it is also about Self Defense?

FORUM OFFICE
This Area is For Any Complaints, Suggestions or Questions That You Might Have about forum operations.
What does that mean?

We seem to be moving a LOT of threads from The Lounge lately.
Please use the Main Menu and put your threads in the proper forum.
If you see a misplaced thread in The Lounge, or any forum, please click the at top right of every post and report it so we can move it.

How about a forum for people to lazy to research even the most basic of information about a gun they purchased?

How many drive by "what's it worth" or "tell me everything about it" could be collected in that single forum?

It is very hard for most people to research something when they have no clue what to even call it.
If the thread has "Identify" or "What is" in the title, just pass it by.
Many members enjoy helping others ID their old guns. Kinda like doing crosswords. ;)

Well this brings up a question I've had for a long, long time.

When I click on the "!", I see the text entry box and this note at the bottom:
Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.

We've got lots of little problems that appear in forums, small items that Moderators work tirelessly to clean up... and could be made easier if we reported them, perhaps. But it seems obvious that the "!" is not to be used for little stuff.

Discussions that have non-descriptive and hopelessly unhelpful titles that don't lead anyone to any conclusion is a big one. A new thread named "Hey, I have a question!" is an awful thread title and should be edited. I believe it's right along the lines as gun related subjected in the lounge.
