I have always been partial to the Bianchi James Bondesque shoulder holster. They made it in brown and black (for formal wear). I was lucky enough to find this in a gun show a couple of years ago.
I remember the Model 14 well but not a black one ever



Retention was suspect on these and the lowermost image shows how we added a snap button (the cap of a snap fastener) inside to add a 'bump' to catch inside the Walther's trigger guard. The vinyl lacing at the 'dee' was all we could think of to close up the leather around it, a style called a 'mexican' pattern. Later John combined the clip with an early design I showed John that used polyurethane tubing as a retainer, to patent the holster that Rogers then had to sophisticate considerably for production by Safariland.
I'll see if I have a pic of that one, from Safari's catalogue (I know it appeared in John's 2010 book, for example).
