Who knows. This little place is a few miles from my house. I've passed it many times, but have never seen it open.

I think if I ever do find it open, I'll stop in and sample the food. I mean, what have I got to lose?

We have a little place like that not far from us, it has a parking lot that will hold over 100 cars, it is only open two months a year.

My dog Beau is hyper-alert when we're out walking, constantly looking off into the distance to see what might be ahead of us or around us. He sometimes like to get up high, the better to see into the distance.

Today, while walking through the woods, he jumped up onto the trunk of this big ol' oak tree that had fallen, so he could take a look around.

Now, how he gets his 120 pounds up into the air that high, and how he gauged the width of this tree trunk so he could land dead center on it is a mystery to me. I mean, he'd never seen the top of this tree trunk...he had no idea how wide it might or might not be.

Dogs are something else. And Annie gives me her best what-are-we-gonna-do-with-this-guy look.

We have a little place like that not far from us, it has a parking lot that will hold over 100 cars, it is only open two months a year.

One thing that caught my eye is the sign says "servicing" breakfast and lunch. Most places would say "serving".

Like your full auto Thompson in your avitar by the way, how is his color holding up though? Like red for example, it fades like crazy because of the uv's?

Thanks! It has converted a lot of anti’s. I don’t think the paint has faded in anyway and looks as fresh as the day it was applied.
