Down the YouTube UFO rabbit hole !!

Living with Vulcans

What I need is an alien who looks like T'Pol, is lonely and single, and who likes the same things I do. :)

And she needs to be more affectionate than most Vulcans can manage.

My wife is very Vulcan like. Logical and while having emotions, she suppresses most of them! I like that she suppresses things like anger! I just have to express enough "Romance" for both of us. (I must be doing it right, we have 4 kids and they are less than 7 years apart!)

If she has the ability to pinch my shoulder and I pass out, I don't remember it, but then she has that whole mind control thing going. All the good major decisions in our life have been my idea, I think.

Guys in my near-decade long experience living and working at air bases around the globe, I've seen and heard some strange things in my time.

None of them supported that aliens have visited our planet.

I believe it's all misidentification, mass hysteria, and in general, just a bunch of nonsense. In today's age of high def smart phones in every pocket, you'd think we'd be seeing tons of quality images and video of UFOs.

We don't.

With that being said, I DO NOT discredit extraterrestrial life. But as Carl Sagan once said, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence...

I would not be surprised. Here's a conspiracy theory for consideration. Over the last 40+ years we have been prepped for this coming contact. Star Trek, Star Wars, ET, X Files etc. We now have context to better understand Mulders phrase. "I want to believe". ??????????????

OK, I admit that I had to Google T'Pol.
I have concluded in short time that I agree 100%.

For anyone else unfamiliar with T'Pol, the actress's name is Jolene Blalock. The show was, Star Trek: Enterprise.

It was the only one of the post-original Star Trek shows I ever watched much. The others seemed too silly, sterile, and generally PC. And Capt. Picard liked Earl Grey tea. I know Queen Elizabeth also prefers it, but it is NOT my cup of tea. It's flavored with Oil of Bergamot, which I detest. And I am particular about tea. I'm probably one of the best American customers of both Twining's of London (Est. 1706) and of Taylor's of Harrogate. And I'm particular about both my tea and my TV shows.

These days, my fantasy women are several VS models and the just-ex Miss Universe now engaged to Tim Tebow. (A South African named Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. Watch her interviews on YouTube. Worth the effort.) But I used to have a bit of a crush on T'Pol. She was Executive Officer of the starship Enterprise and got involved with an engineer. I thought she should have been with the captain, who went on to play an agent on NCIS New Orleans.(Scott Bakula.)

Anyway, thanks for posting. Clearly, you have good taste in women.

BTW, I do believe in UFO's. The commander of the radar room at the air station where I was posted in 1966 and I watched one with 7X50 Bausch & Lomb binoculars as it performed unusual maneuvers over Newfoundland.

He called F-106's down from Goose Bay to chase it, but as the Mach 2 fighters approached, the thing took off and left those fast planes hopelessly behind. Never did find out what it was, but radar detected it and we saw it. But in binoculars, it just looked like a moving star; very high altitude. This was no weather balloon!

I believed in UFO's as my father claimed to have some interface with project blue book and to have seen some UFO landing sights, just before he died, he revealed that all of that UFO stuff was a cover story that he was given to avoid mentioning his work on Long John missiles. I speculate that the universe is big enough that there must be other living things somewhere, but the distances are unfathomable at present for them or us. I do not believe that we have been visited, but being kidnapped by UFO's might be a good way to explain coming back late from a fishing trip, and hunting big foot maybe a good excuse for heading into the deep woods with some big coolers full of beverages and your friends.
