Chapel of the Ozarks

My wife and I made a trip up into southern Missouri in late September and stopped by the Top of the Rock where I took this picture of the Chapel of the Ozarks. Quite the scenic view from this vantage. We also spent a few hours touring the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, well worth a visit.

I will say this about most people in Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, once you get to know them and they trust you, you have friends. I have spent a a lot of time both places and sometimes it takes awhile but it will usually happen.

Here's the one at The Billy Graham Cove Training Center outside of Asheville, NC.

I spent some quality time there.

Came across another connection between chapels and artillery on Sunday. After my cousin's daughter's wedding in the Kirkpatrick Chapel at Rutgers University, I see this sign next to the chapel.
Seems the high ground is optimal for parishioners and artillerists.
