Does everyone have a wish, want, bucket gotta have it list.?

Here's mine,

1. S&W M 29/m29-10 44 mag revolver 6.5" barrel nickel.
2. S&W M25 45LC 6.5" barrel in nickel.
3. 1911/9mm 5" barrel nickel.

Have my s&w m28-0 / 6" hp refinished in nickel.

I've mentioned this several times, but my grail gun is a 640ND.

I'd also like to get a 3" 65. I had one, but sadly had to sell it. I'd particularly like to get a Ladysmith variant.

I miss having a 2" 64, too.

I know most people would disagree with me, but I would love to get a DAO 649 in .38 Special.

A 696 would be cool.

I would also love to get one example of each type of NY1 revolver.

I would love a light weight, best quality SxS double rifle in .275 Rigby to use as a woods deer rifle.

Since I like to eat, and have a roof over my head, its probably not going to happen. But still, I keep my eyes pealed for a "deal".

Had a SxS Russian 45/70 double rifle, (Remington Arms import) and it was actually a pretty good rifle, but a magnitude or two removed from what I really wanted.

In the S&W realm, the only ones still on my wish list are a Model 631 with a 4" barrel and adjustable sights, and perhaps a Model 24 with a 5 or 6" barrel. Of course there are a few upgrades in condition or features that I would look upon favorably.

Once we leave the field of S&W, the guns I would like to own are legion, but I'm not working hard to acquire any of them at this moment. If I win two lotteries or if that Nigerian Bank transfer comes through for me, then watch out!! :D

Targets of opportunity:

Any S&W first year of production revolver that I don't already have.

Pre-War Outdoorsman and pre-war Heavy Duty

Pre-War K22 with box and goodies

An engraved S&W that shouts at me

The Colt 1911 owned and probably carried in WWII by the same Army Colonel who owned my RM; I know where it is, just can't get the owner to turn loose of it

Colt pre-war 38 Super Match

. . . .and a few more. . . .

We have similar tastes in revolvers! I have had nearly all of those at one point or another. Just wish I still had them all!

Just thinking the same thing - I have the 3" 65, 640ND and DAO 649. Eclectic coble of revolvers but I like them.

I did find a factory DAO 649 for sale online once. After it was sold. :(

When I was a kid I had a list of about 30 guns I was going to own when I grew up. Some people would argue I never grew up, but I've got all those guns plus a whole lot more. Still, there are a few more I'd like to add to the menagerie:

Model 25-7 or 25-9 5" .45Colt
Model 28-2 4" S prefix
Model 686 Mountain Gun
Model 12-4 2"
Colt 1903 .32ACP
Broomhandle Mauser

Just those six and I'll be all set. Honest, I mean it this time.

Oh, and a 1928A1 Thompson. Gonna have to win the lottery for that one.
