Screaming ammo deal

Maybe it is just the times that we are living in, but when merchants have the audacity to list items like this at highly inflated prices, this is the reason why everyone should be prepared to load their own even for ammo perceived to be cheaper than the cost to reload!

The question that this advertisement should trigger is, is this an indication of prices to come, or an attempt at price gouging?

Since this e-tailer debuted, they have never once missed an opportunity to take advantage of any politically driven gun market situation.

This is mixed manufacturer, mixed weight, mixed load, and given the picture... some corroded ammo too. And yes, just four times the typical market price. 80 cents per round for the garbage under the table in the dirt at your outdoor range.

There is no worse gun related online retailer than CTD.

Yes, actually, we -DO- need to discuss it. Good gun people need to know and they need to pass the word to all their friends that are new to our sport and lifestyle.

Free market, yup. And gun folks sharing the info is the American way of telling a jerk to shove it up his exhaust pipe.

I encourage every active gun owner to spread the word that CTD is a malignant tumor.

Y'know, I missed something at another site, that offered a similar mixed bag deal... for $8/50. And yes, it was recent.

A collector's site, ammo shipping is more of a hassle... email them a copy of your driver's license and expect to get tagged on shipping.
I picked up 2 boxes of 38 Special, older PPU 158gr LRN, 50 rds a box. Was $16 a box, so $32 for 100 rds. They tacked on $20 to ship it, so it's $52 for 100.
I ordered last night, got the ship notice today, and I was getting some for my mother in law who has an old S&W without ammo. She likely won't shoot more than a cylinder's worth, if that (I suppose we can take it out and put some through just to be sure).
