Has anyone tried rat shot with these? I’ve had good luck with it on snakes, but only if the snake is still there after I go to the house for a gun. One of these would be handy to take to the barn, and maybe it would work as well as my MK II.
Whenever a 22 is brought up in a defensive scenario there always seems to be at least one fool who tries to tell everyone it couldn't kill a wounded mouse and your super attacker probably wouldn't even notice you shot him with it, I see that trend continues in this discussion...
Let me ask a question. Just for discussion's sake, how many of you here would like to get shot in the face with one of these? Maybe up to five times?
It's a "get the hell off of me" emergency device, not a rootin' tootin' fight stopper.
I carry one of these in my pocket, even when carrying a much more potent gun.
"Forte Smitten Wesson"
just "liken your postings"...is not enough.....well said....

This thread inspired me to toss my .22 Mag NAA retired Onion Field gun into the range bag today. Only 3 of the five loaded rounds went off, though the other two did on the second time around. Gonna have to give it a good cleanout and see what’s up.
On the other hand my 100 year old Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless breezed through two boxes of Herters FMJ without a hitch.
