Music to NOT work by

I've often wondered if some of the hate for the Beatles and Queen is that they created such a unique form of music that it was impossible for others to make money doing something similar. This is in contrast to 12-bar blues where you can add any amount of style to differentiate yourself.

That speculation aside, don't play Hocus Pocus by Focus if you are a professional driver and need to keep your license. It's music to speed by.

Like any other joke, the rise of the BUGS was funny once, maybe twice; But grossly over done. Thanks for your post and poem. Looking back, I never even liked music until Led Zepplin.

I used to despise disco. But todays music has me reaching for the Bee Gee's

After two alignment operations to my frame, when I get snarky comments about my limp from the bar girls, I reply with the Bee Gees classic: "You can tell by the way I walk, I'm a ladies man, no time too talk..."

I was in third grade when the Beatles hit the Ed Sullivan Show. I admit to enjoying a few of their tunes when they were a group and before they tried to have dueling singles on their albums. I will admit that Ray Charles version of Yesterday makes McCartney sound like a pre-pubescent boy.
