Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

My grand daughter has gotten involving in High School shotgun shooting. She was using my sons Browning pump shotgun and it was holding her back. So my wife told me to find out what she wanted and buy it. So I found that the gun shop that runs the skeet range had it.
browning cx adjustable comb with 30 inch barrels. It was funny because my wife happened to call. She asked the gun shop manager if I was only buying one gun.
He replied "He is only buying one gun at this time" Glad he didn't mention the other gun I was holding, while thinking about buying it!!

I paid too much but now I'm the proud new owner of a 1942 Finnish m39. Sako barrel on an 1895 Tula receiver, considered an antique. Perhaps the finest bolt action rifle of WW2, these rifles have quite a history. Most of them were left by Russians trying to retreat or get out of Finland The Finns made the Russians pay dearly everytime they dared invade Finland. They took the captured Russian Mosin Nagants and souped them up. Got a spam can of 7.62X54r to go with it.

The correct caliber of the M39 rifle is the Finnish 7.62x53R, whose bullet is thinner than the 7.62x54R.
The M39 was made for the 7.62x53R D bullet, which is thicker than the standard 53R, so that the gun will also accept 54R ammunition.

I myself have an almost unused M39 from 1944. I paid about €100 for it sometime in the early 2000s (600 Finnish marks at the time)

I just placed an order for a brand new Taurus PT92 AFS! I've wanted one since 2017, but there was always something that I needed more than a full-size, all-metal 9mm Duty Pistol.

I was actually planning on getting a Beretta 96A1 instead, but it seems like Beretta may have quietly discontinued it, as all of my LGS' distributors were sold out, and I couldn't find a new one anywhere online. However, in my search I found the Taurus PT92 AFS, which was actually recently discontinued, and was about $300 less than the Beretta.

Some might think that I should have held out for the Beretta, but frankly I've always preferred the frame mounted safety on the Taurus PT92 to the slide mounted safety on the Beretta 92FS.

Plus, I'm a sucker for Stainless Steel, so I couldn't pass it up, especially not when it was so much cheaper and most likely won't be available for much longer.

So now I just have to wait until it arrives at my LGS.

Ordered one of the new Frankford Arsenal X 10 progressive reloading presses. I'll make a post about the darn thing when I get it setup...first caliber is going to be 38/357. Hope it's as good as it looks. Earlier today I bought a Hornady bullet feeder...See if I can't put it on one of the Dillon 750s

Last week I picked up a first-year issue S&W 24-3 with 4-inch barrel.
Then I saw the Standard Catalog of S&W 4th Edition!
So, I have some shooting and reading to do!
I'm a fool for 44 spl.

Sig P229R in 40 DA/SA to go with my Sig P229R in DAK, which goes with my Sig P226R in 40 DA/SA.

I might have a problem.

Went to the local gun club swap and sale this morning as I posted was planned. Didn't buy a whole lot of stuff. No S&Ws for sale. What I got in the firearm line was a new Remington youth model 20 ga shotgun...w 3 chokes. Fellow is going to give me the box etc. Not a complete gun but got a complete Anderson upper for my Anderson lower AR 15. in 223/5.56...came with new mag and 50 rounds of fact ammo. So the complete AR cost me 400 bucks w/ 2 mags and 50 rounds. In the reloading line I got two presses. One was a RCBS Junior press complete for 20 bucks...the other was a RCBS A 2 press complete except no handle extension(steel tube)...for a giveaway price. a bunch
of 11 RCBS shellholders for 5 bucks and I got a box less one round of Federal 32 H&R mag 85 gr HP ammo for 2 dollars and the only S&W brand anything I saw was a Presentation box for 10 bucks. Got another box like the S&W I'm going to put a Contender in for 5 bucks. Made a fellow an offer on a pair of BP revolvers..both new...one a Ruger Old Army the other an Italian copy of the 1860 Army Colt...all with enough components to shoot 'em with. Missed a Cimmaron SAA in 44-40 NIB. Oh I got 10 boxes of Blazer Brass 9mm blow away ammo for a penny under 11 a box from Scheels

Just got in another S&W Model 10-6 heavy barrel to go with the 10-5 pencil barrel. Took it out today and was very pleased with the results using Lee 158 RNFP loaded with Bullseye.

As some of you might know, I’ve been on a single action kick for a while. The latest addition is a Taylor’s tuned Uberti 1873 SAA with a 5-1/2” barrel and the slightly larger 1860 Army grip frame called the Gunfighter:

The larger grip feels great in my hand but I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet. Note that’s not really case hardening on the receiver - not a bad imitation though IMHO.

About the same time I ordered this revolver, I also ordered a Tom Threepersons holster for my SAAs from El Paso Saddlery and have to say it looks pretty good to me:

Bought a Glock 19 4th Generation from a LE friend who carried it as a deputy with the Sheriff's Office Swat Team. He is ill and disposing of his firearms. Came with duty holster, two double mag pouches, four magazines, and 60 rounds of Critical Duty ammo.

Had a purchase permit that wasn't committed, so I jumped on a S&W Shield Plus Performance Center 4" when I picked up my new Ruger Precision Rifle. Satisfied at this point, and the rebate doesn't hurt!

Been waiting over 5 month's for a Springfield SA-35 Browning Hi-Power. Got a phone call from my LGS. I am one happy camper. I have small hands and the grips on it are perfect for me. Purchased a couple of new mags. Fred, it is a EXCELLENT firearm.

Girsan p35 Hipower clone, Walther PPK/s .22LR
