King Sighted Guns ... and a Corny King Poem

We have a poet and didn't know it.
Wow all the nice King sighted guns. I must say that engraved snub nose really trips my trigger.
Thanks for showing them.

K-22 Masterpiece

A November 1948 shipped K-22 Masterpiece with King reflector base front sight w/ivory bead and a U-shaped rear notch . . . maker of grips unknown but original magnas are in the box.

I love the King's that have been posted above. Beautiful and functional. Here's another King sighted K-22. This one was also engraved by Orville Kuhl of San Francisco.

Very well done Richard................

Never having been qualified as a critic of poetry I can say that your poem beat the heck out of some I've tried to read. Not well qualified on the engraved guns either but as an interested observer your "Guns" are a sight for sore eyes!

Here are a couple big-bore full-rib S&W King Super Target triplelock revolvers.

Mike:

How about posting a photo or two of the snub 38 King Super Target... please?:D

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but not sure whether the tears are from the satire of the poem, or the beauty of the guns....Hopefully on the verge of adding a pic or two to this thread...

Looking forward to your photos.:)

My single King-sighted gun pales in comparison to those shown in this thread, but here goes anyway...

A .38-44 Heavy Duty from 1949 that was converted for target (Bullseye) use, possibly by Kings. It has King sights on it with the reflector front sight. The hammer was reworked, but not to the "cockeyed" configuration - just broadened and checkered the spur - it is stamped Micro. The stocks are by Keith Brown...

I'll throw my hat in the ring, only have 2 kings sighted guns. 1st is a 3rd model hand ejector in .44 special with kings reflector sight I had overhauled by Frank Glenn, thing shoots like it has a homing device now. 2nd is a old .38-44 that had the king's sleeved front sight added. A Christmas gift form my dad a couple years back.

Lot of absolutely beautiful guns in this thread. Lots of Roper grips as well. I don't recall ever seeing so many in one place before.

Just as an aside, I was looking through the list of guns for a live auction in Waco this coming weekend, and saw a King Super Target listed...It's online if anyone is interested......Ben

Richard

Couple quick questions. Who (KB?) made the grips for the RM ? Who made the grips for the King Super Police (engraved by Orville Kuhl)? Was it Kuhl ?

Regards, Mike
