Early (1950?) 4-screw, J-Frame?

I'm happy to share the location as I can't possibly buy everything in the store...once I secure my Baby Chief! ;-) It is a fantastic store, and if anyone is looking for anything in particular, I am happy to help look for it for you. They are old school and dont often ship, but never say never! I like helping fellow enthusiasts. Feel free to mesaage me.

Luckily, it actually FUNDS the hobby! LOL, I need to retire, though, so I can apply more time to the hobby without the job getting in the way.

Tell me you're at Ft. Novosel. Then, tell me where that Baby is at...drool.

Never heard of Fort Novosel, then found it was originally Fort Rucker and it made sense.

Another victim of political correctness wanting to remove all signs of the Confederacy! Isn't right:mad::mad: History is history, past and done. It can't be changed, just white-washed over.
What's next, Fort Lee Virginia, Fort Gordon, Georgia???

I AM NOT a confederate sympathizer, far from it,but wrong is simply wrong! In case you didn't know it, Confederate veterans were entitled to be buried in U.S. National Cemeteries! Are those going to be dug up next?:(:(:(

Hello all.

This little beauty is screaming my name, but I'm not 100% certain what it is and when it was made.

I believe it is a 1950/51, J-Frame "Chiefs Special / Pre-36"?

That’s a real find!
One evolutionary step too early to be a pre model 36 however. The pre model would be the Model of 1953 NEW J Frame Chiefs Spl.

Thank you for the clarification and education!
