I have many acquaintances from the music industry in CA. Many of them are 2A supporters. They are entrenched there and not in a financial position to pack up and leave yet.

They fight from within.

The majority of CA voters must be on board with all that.
Glad to NOT be a CA resident almost every day.

You can bet they are, for certain. And likely that alot of CA gunowners, some by ignorance and some deliberate, will vote for the legislators who propose such bills. Because God forbid they should vote for a pro-gun candidate who's not in line with them on taxes, immigration, unions or that other "hot button" issue.

Whenever one discusses the theory of CA gunowners (and this perhaps applies in other states) being "single issue" voters it's pointed out that we're not a majority. True, but we can be a voting block in the same way other special interests may be. Taking 5% or 10% from a candidate and swinging it to another is a heck of a thing.
