Looking at a deal for a MP40 LE M2.0 3.6" Compact sku 11680 ($75 rebate).

But I need 10 round magazines to carry it.
Best I can tell, SW only makes the 13 rounder.

( There is a 10 round but it is for the 1.0 Sub Compact.)

Any suggestions?

If this is the case, I know M & P 9 2.0 FS magazines work in the Compact with the slip on sleeve at the bottom, but don't know if this is available for the .40.

I'm not aware of any 10 round mags for the 2.0 Compact in .40.

The 1.0 version is (confusingly) still called the Compact but better matches the 2.0 Subcompact, so the mags won't fit.

As Murphydog suggests, the full size .40 10 round mags will fit with a bit sticking out the grip. An Xgrip will fill the gap. Both 1.0 and 2.0 mags will fit with the difference being the texture of the plate.

Can’t you just pin the 13s to only hold 10?

FYI you have to take transfer by the 18th for that rebate. I was going to jump on it to but didn't see it in time.

Description specifically says it is for the M2.0 though...

"Manufactured to fit the precision-built Smith & Wesson M&P40 2.0 Compact, this factory mag is sure to perform to perfection. The M&P M2.0 pistol, the newest innovation to the respected M&P polymer pistol line."

It has the appearance of a 1.0 Compact (subcompact size) magazine, down to the finger extension, but it wouldn’t hurt to contact the seller and confirm.

Started looking into getting the (3) mags pinned. But sounds like the money involved is going to knock down the savings with this deal.
So, I am passing on it.

Thanks for the help.

I saw that but the description wrong. Nowhere else does it say 2.0. It has the Pinky extension due to the short grip of the 1.0 Compact and 2.0 Subcompact.

The 10 round mag for the 2.0 will be dimensionally the same as the 13. It will either have an extended base plate (like the full size mags) or dimples. They must be out there because S&W does make a CA Compliant one that 10 rounds but I've never seen any for sale.

Don't where the OP is located, but here in CA, the mags have to be restricted BEFORE they can even enter the state unless the FFL has the right permit to be able to import them (State law). The FFL can then block them and sell them.

Mag blocks do work great.

My local FFL has 10 round 2.0 Compact mags but only for 9mm. They are factory "blocked" mags.
