Finished these two today. For the first time, I did concurrent builds.

Yesterday my wife and I went to Lake Pleasant, AZ for lunch and to see the Philippine Mars aircraft. It was flown in for its final airborne journey and is in the process of being disassembled for its final destination at the Pima Air Museum near Tucson.

The engines have already been removed and trucked down to Pima. The vertical tail has also been removed as have some of the control surfaces. It's a big aircraft! I couldn't get any closer as it's fenced off.

At Lake Pleasant there's also wild burros wandering around. They're very docile.

This one was blocking the parking lot.

As we were leaving the park this one walked up to the car and stuck its nose in the window...kinda freaked my wife out. It was probably used to people giving it food and was looking for some.

Watch out for the burros on the roads in/out of Pleasant... they get hit pretty regularly there.

Your painting is excellent! What kind of paints, thinners and airbrush pressures do you use?

I have an old Paasche H airbrush with the compressor set at 30.

Ammo by Mig Russian green primer and Russian green base (ZIS 508) on the launchers. (both acrylic) Thinned with water. Matt varnish over that, then Ammo by Mig Dark Brown Wash for Green Vehicles (enamel).

For the missiles, I used Vallejo grey surface primer (acrylic) thinned with water, and Colourcoats RM02 Regia Marina WWII light grey (enamel) thinned with Colourcoats thinner (naptha). After applying the decals, a coat of matt varnish.
