I've had one of these for years. Thinking about carrying it. What is your preferred holster and carry method.

I don't have a 3 inch 65 (unfortunately) but I have a very similar gun that I do carry, a 2.75 Ruger Speed Six. The Ruger Six revolvers fit K frame holsters just fine, in fact the holster I use says K/S on the back which I'm assuming means K frame/ Six. It's made by Azula, they can be found on ebay and Amazon for around $40-50. I carry it appendix and with the right grips it disappears. The only thing I dislike is the cant isn't adjustable. It'd hide even better with a forward cant. My holster was originally for a 2 inch EAA Windicator that I traded away, which is K frame sized too. I found it worked perfect for my Speed Six so I just went with it. They sell actual 3 inch holsters too.

I'm considering trying this one with the forward cant option

I've posted this before, for my 3" K Frame, Model 66...

Inside waistband usually a Sparks Summer special, outside either a pancake or a PMK

IWB kydex from PJ holsters, OWB Desantis pancake with no retention strap. All at 4:00. Stocks are Hogue synthetic Bantam for better grip with aging hands and no rash from exotic hardwoods against bare skin.

OWB in a DeSantis Speed Scabbard. Also have a Comtach kydex paddle for it. Have several of the DeSantis for different revolvers, J Frame and L Frame.
Sorry for picture orientation.

Don't own one but carried a 4" 65 as a duty weapon for years. Thumb break pancake. I need a 3" 357 like I need a hole extra hole in my head but if I was to find a reasonably good deal......;)

I carry my 65-3 3” at work in a Threepersons style holster at 4 o’clock. It conceals really well in under a sport coat.

Depending --Carry mine IWB, OWB and Cross Draw depending on clothing, weather conditions etc. I have done a lot of practicing in front of a mirror and of course on the range. Each one has its place IMHO. Not to forget "shot placement is everything" no matter where your weapon comes from.
