This morning our phones changed automatically, even though that automatic setting was turned off.

We're in AZ and don't do DST. If the phone is so smart, it should be able to figure that out! So smart its stupid...

Most have never worked a day in their life.

Only the government could be behind something this stupid. Anyone who has ever worked 5 minutes on a farm knows that the day starts early! The more daylight one has in the morning the better.

This is What you get when you have elected officials who have never worked a day in their lives, much less on a farm.

Doesn't make a whole lot of difference for farmers around here. They start early and call it a day late into the evening come Spring.

One big advantage to being retired and divorced is the time change doesn't effect me much. I changed the clocks last night before we went to bed at 1:30am and both my fury boys let me sleep until today's 9:30am, their normal 8:30am wakeup. I'm not an early riser so I like the extra sunlight in the evenings.

On Saturday I always re-set the clocks after dinner. I always watch the 11:00 news except on Saturday. When it showed 11:00 I went to bed. Got up this morning normal time. I never noticed the difference.

Phones change their time based on your location relevant to GMT.

Set your location time to manual, GMT - 6, and it should correct.

Just remember to set it to -7 when daylight time ends.

You do know that most of the US population neither live, nor work, on farms? Most are governed by a clock used by their employer to maximize his/her business. The added daylight relative the clock time at which your employer releases you is most useful for getting stuff done at home.

Don't even start with the "get it done before going to the office" because it simply does not work.

Funny thing, but even my former military early riser buddy prefers more light after the working day to get stuff done or relax outside.

Being retired, I rarely pay attention to any clocks, especially in the morning. I just get up with the sunrise.

Seems only the government really knows what time it is. LOL
