Just curious, do you remember what make it was? Colt, H&R, Hydromatic? Here is a picture that I took of my M16 in Da Nang. Someone had asked me for a picture of what I had there. Took a "display" picture for them.

Yes, but you are older than dirt Jimmy. Christ was an E-4 when you were in.In my time in service the coffee cups did not have "Handles". (Mugs).
You might get some negative feed back on that one AJ but I think it's FUNNY!!All the different branches seem to have their own terminology............Whose is right???

My father and son both retired from the USAF. I guess the Air Force thing skipped a generation. I'll have to send that chart to LtC. (Ret.) Tom to see what he thinks of it. I can see the AF attraction.I thought it was funny too. We all make jokes at the others expense about their services. If someone does not like it, then I guess they can complain. By we, I mean the guys who are servicemen not folks who did not serve.
Keep us posted on what LtCol.(RET.) Tom thinks of it.My father and son both retired from the USAF. I guess the Air Force thing skipped a generation. I'll have to send that chart to LtC. (Ret.) Tom to see what he thinks of it. I can see the AF attraction.View attachment 776245
