El Paso Saddlery 1927 holster for Ruger .22/45 (pic)
Got a holster yesterday in the mail from El Paso Saddlery. I ordered it on April 29, 4 1/2 month wait, but I'm not complaining. I had looked for a holster for my Ruger .22/45, but couldn't find anything but some cheap nylon ****. I had an El Paso Saddlery 1927 holster for a Ruger .22 in the past and liked it so ordered another one.
Now I'll be able to use my Ruger .22 in our clubs monthly Bianchi Cup match, drawing from a holster and shooting steel falling plates from 10-25 yards. .22's compete against each other with 6" plates, centerfire pistols use 8" plates.
Also got a spare mag pouch for it for range and field use, this combo will see a bit of squirrel hunting this year.
Here's a pic:

Very nice looking holster!
If you don't mind me asking, what does a holster like that run you (ballpark figure)?
I've been looking a holster for my Buckmark Hunter, and have yet to find one. Doesn't seem like anybody makes a factory holster, so it looks like I'm going to have to go the custom holster route.

Great American,
The holster was $80, the spare mag pouch was $40. Seems high, but I have been using El Paso Saddlery holsters since 1992, they are holsters built for a lifetime of use.
And if you ever do get tired of them, maybe sell the gun you had it made for, there will be shooters standing in line to buy it!
The hardest part is the wait, it takes a while to have it made, but you'll be glad you waited when you get it and use it.

Anything I've ordered from EPS was of superb quality and well worth the wait. Nice looking holster!
